Tulsa Golf Courses and Clubs

There are a number of appealing golf courses spread around Tulsa and its outskirts. The 36-hole Page Belcher Golf Course certainly ranks amongst Tulsa's very best and resides on the southern side of the city, being sandwiched in-between the Oaks Country Park and the Turkey Mountain Park.

Another one to make a note of is the Mohawk Park Golf Course, which is to be found on the north-eastern side of the city, alongside Lake Yahola, the Zoo and Living Museum, and Tulsa International Airport. Mohawk Park boasts two 18-hole courses, named the Woodbine and Pecan Valley, with the former being laid out in 1934 by famous course-architect, Floyd Farley.

The extremely scenic LaFortune Park Course comprises two separate, individual 18-hole courses, with a number of notable difficult holes. One of the most popular public courses in the city, green fees here are particularly inexpensive and attractions at LaFortune Park include water hazards, mature trees, equipment hire and a par of 72.

Meadowbrook Country Club

Meadowbrook Country Club is a private club, with reasonably price membership fees and a reciprocal guest policy. The clubs contains a large 18-hole course which dates back to the 1950s and offers sloping areas, attractive fairways and a number of natural challenges.

Open to members of the general public, the Page Belcher Course features two 18-hole courses, the Old Page Course and the Stone Creek Course. The Southern Hills Country Club is an exceptional 18-hole private course, with good facilities. Contains a total of 27 holes, with three separate nine-hole courses, the Front Nine Course, the Back Nine Course and the West Nine Course, which can be played in various combinations. This is an important championship club and although membership fees are fairly expensive, the courses are superb.
